Strategy 6 - Once 1-5 is implemented and optimization is set in place, we can look at google adsene and google pay per click and in this stragegy the use of strategy 1, 5 gives us leverage towards low cost PPC and very effective PPC
Hi! This is Tony Khatemi with Global ClicMarketing and I am here with another video for you. So let's get started. Although most people jump immediately into Google AdWords, my advice is always to wait until you have a website that is optimized and getting some natural traffic before jumping into that strategy. Let me first give you some small statistics that I have gathered for you.For a specific keyword, the number one ranking site will get about 48% of the click throughs. The rest of the websites get about 50% of the traffic. About 2% to 3% of the search results for a keyword will result in the visitor clicking on the right-hand side of the search results - the sponsored searches. So if only 2% to 3% percent click on the right-hand side, our efforts and resources should instead go into all of the other strategies.
We need to promote and boost the ranking organically with Google and other search engines. The bulk of the traffic will go to the first eight natural, organic search results. So pay-per-click (PPC) in general is not a very high traffic event. The only way we would use this strategy is if we are very specific with our keywords and actively and deliberately targeting the audience we want to attract.
Google AdWords can also be very inexpensive if the website owner has a well-balanced website that is SEO-friendly with a good ranking. A perk can even be gained from Google. The price for AdWords (or other PPC options) on a specific keyword can be substantially less than for sites that are not SEO-friendly.
In general, I like to focus all PPC efforts on a specific geographic area and very specific conditions so that we can control the cost and control the audience. When you are ready for this strategy we will walk you through every step to create a measured and very successful campaign.Thank you for watching this video and I look forward to the next one!
