The Cheapest Way to Buy Web Site Traffic (Without Breaking the Bank!)

When I built my first site, I could not buy web site traffic for the life of me.  My content seemed pretty good, but I was not able to get any attention from search engines.  Eventually, I found that one of the easiest ways to get instant traffic is to purchase a sponsored ad on Google, Yahoo, MSN, or Bing.

Sponsored searches through major search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, or Ask are also effective Internet marketing tactics that put your business in front of interested customers immediately.

The key to both of these types of advertisement is high quality content and a great offer.  Using sponsored ads is a great way to test market your specific service or product. It can allow you to measure the interest of your target audience and then decide if you should invest more time and resources on the given product or service.

Start with an initial FREE offer. Once your target market shows interest and accepts this offer, you can then present the next product or service. Try to keep the price on this one relatively low, around $5 or $10. This price range seems to grab the attention of any target audience.

Another great way to attract more web site traffic is by using Google AdWords or Yahoo Overture, the search engines’ pay-per-click advertising options. Use the tools provided by each to find keywords that cost between five and ten cents. Keep in mind that long-tail keywords (longer phrases and word chains) often have a better chance of click-through. You may also want to explore these kinds of keywords because usually you will find that they have minimal competition.

However, when attempting to buy web site traffic this way, you must not forget to continue improving your websites on-page and off-page optimization. On-page factors include whether the search keyword is in the title, domain, head Meta's or Yahoo and DMZ directory registration for your pages.

When considering off-page optimizations, remember to try for back links from well-ranked external sites. These links will help lower the cost of PPC. Google and others will reward your sites for this kind of optimization.

Buying web site traffic is best attempted after your site has been completely optimized in these ways, but for quick market tests, pay-per-click and sponsored searches are methods of advertisement that also seem to work very well.
